THE TAKE
Passport Bros Currency
The Passport Bro movement didn't come out of nowhere. It came out of exhaustion. Out of men who felt like they were failing a test they never agreed to take. Out of real, legitimate loneliness wrapped in a bunch of bullshit.
I get that.
What I don't get is the refusal to ask the harder question: What sir, are you actually running from?
Because here's what nobody in those forums will say out loud unless they wanna get cancelled, if your relational patterns are broken, the broken patterns come with you. The flight is 10 hours or less depending on how many layovers, its not like you are going to another galaxy!
A man who can't communicate with an American woman who wants him to grown up, isn't going to magically unlock emotional fluency in Medellín.
He's going to find a different kind of avoidance and a whole different kind of woman!
I'm not roasting you hun, I'm trying to save you a lot of frequent flyer miles.

STAT OF THE DAY
68% of American men who've traveled abroad for dating report preferring international women. That is up from an estimated 40% just three years ago. Meanwhile, marriage rates among men between 25 and 34 in the U.S. have dropped to historic lows. These numbers are connected. And they're both symptoms, not causes.
The women being "easier" abroad isn't about those women being more pleasant. It's about power dynamics shifting in the traveler's favor. Less economic parity. A language barrier that makes depth harder to reach. A cultural context where the man is, frankly, exotic. That's not a relationship. That's a vacation with feelings.
And look, I did an entire two part deep dive on this for the podcast. S4 E11, "Before You Blame Women, Try This: A Reality Check for Passport Bros," and S4 E12, "The Latina Fantasy: Why Passport Bros Keep Flying South & Why It's Not Cute." We went there. Fully. Affectionately. Without pulling a single punch.
Because contrary to popular belief, I want men to win at this…sorry girls!
I want you to find love.
Real love.
Not a Temu version of avoidance that has a better Instagram reel than we do. Yuck.
The women abroad you're idealizing? They have standards too. They have expectations. They have emotions, and the second you bring one home ,or stay, you'll discover that human female emotions is NOT just a western “annoyance”.
From the research and many mens’ opinions throughout my years, the issue is so much more than the average female could ever comprehend. Booking a flight is just easy. That’s almost literally the bottom line. Correct us if we are wrong!

National Tap Dance Day Gets Its Moment
Today we're tapping into National Tap Dance Day, and honestly, it's about time this art form got its flowers.
Fun fact: I tried tap dancing as a freshman in college, but I was so hungover, I missed the audition into the elective.
While most of America is firing up grills for Memorial Day weekend, tap dancers nationwide are reminding us that entertainment doesn't always need a soundtrack, sometimes the feet is just the music the ears need!
The holiday celebrates the rhythm, precision, and sheer athleticism of tap dancing, a uniquely American art form that's been shuffling its way through vaudeville stages, Broadway productions, and viral TikTok videos for over a century.
My personal favorite? The Nicholas Brothers.
So whether you're channeling your inner Gene Kelly or just appreciating the clicks and clack from a distance, take a moment today to appreciate the dancers who make percussion look effortless.
A man with rhythm? We love that!
MEMORIAL DAY BBQ FORECAST
Smash Burgers Are Crashing the Cookout
Memorial Day BBQs are looking different this year, ladies and gentlemen.
Traditional slow cooking proteins are taking a backseat as smash burgers surge 21%, hot honey climbs 30%, and sweet & smoky flavor motivation explodes 106%.
BBQ beef, brisket, and ribs are all down nearly 20% as Americans trade up the build with brioche buns, cheddar jack, and hot honey sauce.
Huli huli chicken is also making waves with a 30% increase, proving that cookout innovation isn't just about beef anymore.
So if you're still planning your Memorial Day menu, maybe ditch the 12-hour brisket and grab your spatula, the smash burger revolution is here, and it's bringing globally inspired flavors like Korean BBQ, Caribbean jerk, and birria (yummy!) along for the ride.
